Wonderful homemade soup. We had the Broccoli cheddar and the vegetable barley. Both were fantastic and vegetarian which can be hard to find. My husband also had the California Club sandwich which was great. The people are very friendly. We live far away, but may have to come back anyway.

Fast and friendly service!! Can get packed for lunch for sure. Great deli-only downfall is it's a bit pricey for a sandwich, chips and soda . I got the antipasto salad, chips and drink and it was $20 . It was a little heavy on the dressing but I know now how to order next time. But will go back and have been back there already a few times!

A seriously good sandwich. Something Jackson needed for a long-time. Its a better Pickel Barrel for those of you that remember that treasure of a joint.

I think they have something here. It's a soup and sandwich shop in the downtown area. I had the turkey apple sandwich. The sandwich was tasty. Idk if it was the apple, but the turkey was so flavorful on the lightly toasted bread. My friend got the chicken Caesar wrap. She said there was a bit of a crunch to it that made it unique. Both the wrap and the sandwich fillings were plentiful, and served with a pickle spear. As we looked to the left and right of us, the soup that others had ordered looked appetizing. Seating is pretty much limited to tables of two and four. The shop is in an old building and a lot of the brick and tile detail was left in place. This gave it a homey feel. The foot traffic was bountiful considering they hadn't had a grand opening yet. I didn't give it five stars because I think it's a little pricey.

As a food reviewer, I appreciate the attention to detail in each bite. The sandwiches are not only well-constructed but also thoughtfully flavored. For example, the turkey in the Turkey Apple Sandwich is notably flavorful, and the lightly toasted bread adds a comforting crunch. The bistro’s ambiance, with remnants of its historical architectural charm, enhances the overall dining experience.

Yet, it’s worth noting that some patrons have found the prices slightly higher than typical deli fare.
